The Deyang Economic and Information Bureau published the list of Innovative SMEs approved in the fourth quarter of 2022 — Sichuan Kulun Electric Co., Ltd. passed the assessment on the strength of its technological innovation.
In accordance with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s Interim Measures for the Gradient Cultivation and Management of High-Quality SMEs and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology’s implementation plan, the list of Innovative SMEs for the fourth quarter of 2022 was published after application, recommendation by local economic and information departments, and expert review.
"Innovative SMEs" are high-quality small and medium-sized enterprises with a high level of specialization, strong innovation capability and development potential. The title is a recognized mark of innovation capability and an important driver of high-quality regional economic development.
The evaluation criteria cover three categories — innovation capability, growth and specialization — with six indicators, requiring a comprehensive score of at least 60 points or one of the following conditions:
- Having won a national or provincial science and technology award in the past three years;
- Holding honors such as National High-Tech Enterprise, national technology innovation demonstration enterprise, or intellectual property advantage/demonstration enterprise;
- Owning a recognized R&D institution at or above the provincial or ministerial level;
- Having raised more than 5 million yuan in new equity financing from qualified institutional investors in the past three years.
