SCR Power Controller
An SCR power controller is a controller built around a dedicated control circuit that triggers thyristors (SCRs) to adjust the power of AC loads. It is also called a thyristor power controller, SCR regulator, SCR voltage regulator, power regulator, or power controller.
By firing method it divides into voltage regulation and power regulation. Voltage regulation uses phase control; power regulation has fixed-cycle and variable-cycle methods.
